Research Teachers Conference in D.C.

The Society for Science & the Public selects 200 science research teachers each year to attend the Research Teachers Conference in Washington, D.C. where the selected teachers spend an all-expenses-paid weekend sharing best practices in leading students in independent science research projects. Ninety percent of these teachers identified "Learning how to use large publicly-available data sets for student research projects" as an area of interest.

ODI's Ruth Krumhansl has been asked to be the keynote speaker and answer questions on this topic on Saturday, October 14, 2017. See the conference schedule.
